Chairs

Kitchen chairs and dining chairs are a regular part of what we are called on to do. Tighten loose chair rungs, glue backs and frames, glue split seats, rebuild feet. repair broken legs and, when necessary, re-make missing parts.

Drawers

Chest of drawers often have many problems. The most common are worn drawer sides and/or runners, and loose hardware. We carry miscellaneous hardware and lumber to make these repairs and then we lubricate the sides and runners for easy action.

Finish Damage

•The pictures to the right are good examples of the kinds of finish damage we are asked to repair. In some cases, just a good cleaning with elbow grease followed by padding shellac has outstanding results.
•Scented candles and perfume bottles often drip down on dresser tops, "burning" a deep imprint in the finish. Careful filling and wet sanding can have very acceptable results.
