"Hi -- I have an old -- not sure of the year but it's probably before 1940 -- rolltop desk -- solid oak.

My problem -- the cables holding the rolltop broke clear across so 1/2 the top is in the back of the desk and the other half still rolls closed.  There were 3 cables.

Can this be repaired?" -Hatboro, PA

'Hi Roberto -- thanks for the beautiful job you did on my roll top desk and for completing the job so quickly.   I only started looking for someone to repair it on Thursday and the job was complete before a week passed.  Wow!  Amazing!
